16. Seksuele disfuncties bij vrouwen

Samenvatting

In dit hoofdstuk staat de beschrijving van de meest voorkomende seksuele problemen en stoornissen van vrouwen zoals vermeld in de DSM-5 centraal. Na een aantal algemene inleidende feiten en cijfers over vrouwelijke seksuele disfuncties, worden respectievelijk de seksuele-interesse-/opwindingsstoornis, orgasmestoornis en de genitopelvienepijn-/penetratiestoornis belicht. Van elk van deze disfuncties wordt na een beschrijving van de probleemoriëntatie uitgebreid stilgestaan bij de prevalentie en incidentie, (lichamelijke en psychosociale) etiologie, aanpak van anamnese, diagnostiek, indicatiestelling en behandeling. Er wordt afgesloten met een kritische beschouwing.
