17. Seksuele disfuncties bij mannen

Samenvatting

In dit hoofdstuk staan de seksuele disfuncties bij mannen – zoals vermeld in de DSM-5 – centraal. Na een algemene beschrijving van aspecten die te maken hebben met diagnostiek en indicatiestelling, worden respectievelijk verminderd seksueel verlangen, opwindingstoornis, orgasmestoornis en pijn bij seks behandeld. Van elk van deze disfuncties wordt na een beschrijving van de probleemoriëntatie uitgebreid stilgestaan bij de prevalentie en incidentie, de (lichamelijke en psychosociale) etiologie, aanpak van de anamnese, diagnostiek, indicatiestelling en behandeling. Afsluitend wordt de balans opgemaakt van de stand van zaken rond diagnostiek en interventies bij seksuele disfuncties bij mannen.
