6. Ruptuur van het caput longum van de m. biceps brachii

Samenvatting

Bij een 82-jarige vrouw ontstaat vrij plotseling een rare enigszins pijnlijke bobbel op de bovenarm. Dit beeld is kenmerkend voor een ruptuur van de lange kop van de m. biceps brachii. Het hoofdstuk beschrijft de oorzaken, diagnostiek en de conservatieve en operatieve behandeling voor deze vrij veelvoorkomende aandoening van de proximale lange bicepspees.
