3. Radiologische diagnostiek van ingesloten derde molaren

Abstract

Ingesloten verstandskiezen bevinden zich soms in de nabijheid van de nervus alveolaris inferior, waardoor een eventueel geplande extractie complicaties kan veroorzaken. In dergelijke gevallen is extra voorzichtigheid geboden en is het van groot belang dat de arts de extractie aan de hand van radiologisch beeldmateriaal goed kan voorbereiden.
