Loss of a job, loss of a home, loss of a friend or family member- over the course of one’s lifetime, losses abound. How a person experiences and deals with losses great and small has a significant impact on his or her quality of life. Many of us find that following a loss, we move through stages of grief, supported perhaps by family, friends, and faith traditions. In time we adjust to the loss. This difficult process is compounded for those with an Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC).
