Psychodynamische persoonlijkheidsdiagnostiek

Abstract

In de klinische psychologie, de psychiatrie en de psychotherapie is er toenemend behoefte aan instrumenten voor de beoordeling van de persoonlijkheidsontwikkeling. Deze bieden belangrijke informatie voor de indicatiestelling voor de behandeling. Daarnaast kunnen ze worden gebruikt voor evaluatie-onderzoek van therapie. In dit artikel wordt een aantal instrumenten voor persoonlijkheidsontwikkeling gepresenteerd. Recent ontwikkelde instrumenten sluiten aan bij de verschuiving die geleidelijk plaatsvindt in de psychoanalytische theorie, namelijk van de drifttheorie naar de objectrelationele en zelfpsychologische benaderingen. Meer aandacht is nodig voor de ontwikkeling van instrumenten die voorspellende variabelen voor therapie-effect opleveren. De psychoanalytische theorie biedt hiervoor voldoende aanknopingspunten.
