Samenvatting

Bij een platvoet (pes planus) is het mediale voetgewelf verstreken. Meestal staat de achtervoet in valgusstand (knikvoet). Men kan onderscheid maken tussen een soepele platvoet, die bij onderzoek te corrigeren is, en een contracte platvoet, waarbij dit niet mogelijk is.
