Samenvatting

De interactie tussen de begrippen ‘organisch’ en ‘functioneel’ is fundamenteel in de stempathologie. Een aantal anatomische stemplooiafwijkingen kunnen optreden als een weefselreactie op fonotrauma door overmatig/afwijkend stemgebruik. In een redelijk geavanceerd stadium kan, zelfs met stemrust en correctie van het afwijkend stemgebruik, geen helder stemgeluid meer geproduceerd worden (Titze, 1994; Gould e.a., 1995; Dikkers & Nikkels, 1995).
