Samenvatting

Door zijn complexiteit is het fenomeen stem moeilijk te onderzoeken. Voor de diagnose en het behandelen van stemstoornissen vertrouwen onderzoekers (logopedisten, foniaters) doorgaans op een mengeling van objectieve metingen en subjectieve perceptuele indrukken (Blaustein & Barr, 1983). Door middel van de objectieve meetmethoden kan een bepaald deelaspect van de stem in kaart gebracht worden.
