Oxygeneer, maar niet als weleer

Samenvatting

“Alstublieft, een beetje zuurstof. Dat is goed voor u.” Maar is dit wel zo? Medicinale zuurstof wordt gezien als een geneesmiddel dat onbeperkt toegediend kan worden, terwijl er met andere geneesmiddelen juist wel op toxiciteit en andere schadelijke effecten wordt gelet. De laatste jaren heeft de kennis omtrent zuurstof en anesthesiologie een vlucht genomen, maar nog niet iedereen is up-to-date.
