9. Orgasmestoornissen bij mannen

Samenvatting

In dit hoofdstuk worden twee mannelijke orgasmestoornissen beschreven: vroegtijdige zaadlozing (VZ) en geremd orgasme/geremde zaadlozing (GZ) met het doel om deze aandoeningen te kunnen vaststellen en behandelingsmogelijkheden toe te passen. Van vroegtijdige zaadlozing is sprake wanneer de ejaculatie eerder dan gewenst optreedt. Vroegtijdige zaadlozing is een veelvoorkomende seksuele klacht en veroorzaakt stress voor de patiënt en zijn partner. Dit hoofdstuk beschrijft de verschillende subtypes (syndromen) gerelateerd aan VZ, hun verschillen, klachten, oorzaken en behandelingsmogelijkheden. GZ is het aanhoudend ontbreken van orgasme volgend op een fase van seksuele activiteit met passende stimulatie en normale opwinding. Er zijn beperkte publicaties over GZ en de mogelijke oorzaken en de behandelmogelijkheden worden beschreven. Beide aandoeningen worden vanuit biopsychosociaal perspectief benaderd.
