119. Onschuldige hartruis

Samenvatting

Een hartruis wordt gedefinieerd als een extra of ongebruikelijk geluid dat gehoord wordt naast een normale eerste en tweede harttoon. Een onschuldige hartruis wordt beschouwd als een variatie op de normale harttonen die niet het gevolg is van een structurele cardiale aandoening. Dit type hartruis wordt ook ‘functioneel’, ‘fysiologisch’ of ‘normaal’ genoemd. De diagnose ‘onschuldige hartruis’ wordt per exclusionem gesteld, nadat zorgvuldige beoordeling van de ruis, goede anamnese en lichamelijk onderzoek een pathologische hartruis heeft uitgesloten.
