Abstract

Voeding blijkt bij bepaalde röntgenologische en laboratoriumonderzoeken invloed te hebben op de resultaten. Een tijdelijke aanpassing van de voeding is dan vereist om fout-positieve of foutnegatieve uitslagen te voorkomen. Een onderzoeksdieet kan een onderdeel zijn van het diagnostische proces en moet uitsluiten dat voeding het onderzoek negatief beïnvloedt. Verder kan een dergelijk dieet tot doel hebben de reactie van het lichaam op een standaard dieetinterventie te meten. Ook kan de voeding worden aangepast om een bepaald onderzoek op een betrouwbare wijze uit te kunnen voeren.
