Samenvatting

Obstipatie komt veel voor tijdens de zwangerschap en is vaak onschuldig.
Behandeling is grotendeels gelijk aan de behandeling bij niet-zwangeren.
Bij hinderlijke klachten ondanks vezelrijke voeding, voldoende vochtinname en voldoende lichaamsbeweging: start macrogol of lactulose.
Ontraad andere osmotische laxantia als magnesiumoxide en sennoside.
