Samenvatting

Naevus is het Latijnse woord voor ‘moedervlek’. Meestal wordt met naevus een gewone moedervlek bedoeld, de naevus naevocellularis. Dit is een melanocytaire naevus. Per definitie zijn naevi goedaardig; veel kinderen en adolescenten hebben benigne melanocytaire naevi.
