Moeten kinderen met astma worden ingeënt tegen griep?

Het non-effect van de griepprik

Samenvatting

De effectiviteit van de huidige jaarlijkse griepvaccinatie bij kinderen met astma is niet aangetoond en aan twijfel onderhevig. Wij pleiten er daarom voor dat de huisarts afziet van routinematige vaccinatie van kinderen met astma en in plaats daarvan, in overleg met de patiënt en zijn ouders en rekening houdend met hun wensen, van geval tot geval een weloverwogen besluit neemt tot wel of niet vaccineren.
