Samenvatting

Urologische tumoren komen frequent voor, vooral bij de man. Volgens de Nederlandse Kankerregistratie in 2006 staat onder de tien meest voorkomende maligne tumoren bij de man het prostaatcarcinoom op de eerste plaats, het blaascarcinoom op de vijfde plaats en het niercelcarcinoom op de tiende plaats. Bij de vrouw zijn urologische tumoren zeldzamer.
