10. Midportion achillespeestendinose

Samenvatting

Bij een 40-jarige voetballer ontstaat geleidelijk pijn in de achillespees. De pijn wordt vooral gevoeld aan het begin van een voetbalwedstrijd. Als de pijn erger wordt, raadpleegt hij een fysiotherapeut. Het geleidelijke ontstaan van de pijn en de locatie van de pijn wijzen op een achillespeestendinose. Het hoofdstuk behandelt de casus, de oorzaken, de therapie en twee oefenprogramma’s die worden toegepast ter behandeling van deze aandoening.
