Samenvatting

De mediane halscyste, ook wel ductus thyreoglossuscyste genoemd, wordt gekenmerkt door een al dan niet pijnlijke zwelling in de middenlijn van de hals, zoals de naam al aangeeft. De mediane halscyste is een congenitale afwijking.
