Mag iemand die acenocoumarol gebruikt in verband met een doorgemaakte veneuze trombose, naar grote hoogten gaan?

Samenvatting

Iemand die in zijn leven ooit een ernstige diepe veneuze trombose heeft doorgemaakt, loopt altijd het risico op een recidief. In de eerste plaats omdat in het betreffende vaatgebied (meestal de onderste extremiteit/het kleine bekken) de bloedstroomverhoudingen, ondanks re-kanalisatie van de trombose, blijvend afwijkend zijn. In de tweede plaats omdat iemand die ooit een ernstige veneuze trombose heeft doorgemaakt, een drager kan zijn van een of andere vorm van constitutionele trombofilie.
