One may argue that being in any intimate and committed relationship requires a significant amount of dedication, time, and understanding from both parties. If you add a variable such as a diagnosis of Asperger Syndrome (AS), you can be assured that you will need to modify the above formula and can be presented with a whole host of challenges. This book is such an important one in today’s world as the population of Aspies is growing older and the increase in Aspie/Neurotypical couples is increasing as well. As I was reflecting while reading this book and thinking of relationships in general, it was difficult for me not to see the similarities that exist between two neurotypical individuals as well as the Aspie/Neurotypical couple. …
