유아 자녀를 둔 부모의 양육효능감, 행복감과 자녀의 사회적 유능감 간 관계:

자기-상대방효과

본 연구는 어머니와 아버지의 양육효능감이 행복감에 미치는 영향에서 자기효과, 상대방효과를 확인하고, 부모의 양육효능감과 행복감이 자녀의 사회적 유능감에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 확인하는 것이다. 한국아동패널의 7차년도(2014년 조사) 자료 중 1,433명의 데이터를 활용하였으며, 자기-상대방 상호의존모형(Actor and Partner Interdependence Model, APIM) 분석 방법을 사용하였다. 분석 결과, 첫째, 양육효능감은 부모 각자의 행복감에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 자기효과가 확인되었다. 반면,상대방효과는 어머니의 양육효능감이 아버지의 행복감에 영향을 미치는 경로에서만긍정적인 효과가 확인되었다. 둘째, 양육효능감이 행복감에 미치는 영향에서 자기효과 간 크기, 상대방효과 간 크기는 차이가 없는 것으로 검증되었다. 반면, 자기효과와 상대방효과 간 크기 비교 결과, 어머니와 아버지 모두 자기효과가 상대방효과 보다 더 큰 것으로 확인되었다. 셋째, 어머니와 아버지의 양육효육감과 행복감 중 어머니의 양육효육감이 자녀의 사회적 유능감에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 효과가 확인되었다. 끝으로 본 연구의 시사점 및 제한점을 논의하였다.

This study examined that the effects of mothers’ and fathers parenting self-efficacy on their happiness by using APIM(Actor and Partner Interdependence Model) and its influences on their child s social competence. 1,433 couples who have children from the 7th year data from the Panel Study on Korean Children in 2014. The results of APIM illustrated that, first, the actor effect of parenting self-efficacy on happiness was significant in mothers and fathers, while its partner effect was significant only in mothers. Second, there was no significant difference of actor and partner effects in mothers and fathers. However, results revealed that greater actor effects than partner effects in relation to mothers and fathers’ parenting self-efficacy and their happiness. Third, in models, the effects of mothers’ parenting self-efficacy on their child s social competence was verified. Finally, the limitations and suggestions for further study were addressed in this study.
