부모의 학대 및 방임이 청소년의 우울과 학교적응 간의 종단연구 분석

The longitudinal Analysis about Abuse and Neglect from Parents, Adolescents’ Depression, and School Adjustment

본 연구의 목적은 부모의 학대와 방임의 양육태도, 청소년의 우울, 학교적응이 시간변화에 따른 발달경향성을 살펴보고, 부모의 학대와 방임이 청소년의 우울을 매개로 학교적응에 미치는 영향을 분석하는 것이다. 이를 위해 한국청소년정책연구원의 한국아동·청소년 패널조사(Korean Children & Youth Panel Survey: KCYPS) 중학교 2차년(2011)에서 4차년(2013)도 패널데이터를 사용하여 다변량 잠재성장모형을 검증하였다. 분석결과 첫째, 부모의 학대와 방임은 청소년의 우울과는 정적상관을 보였고, 학교적응의 하위변인들과는 부적상관으로 나타났다. 둘째, 부모의 학대와 방임은 청소년의 우울을 매개로 학교적응에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. Sobel 검증을 통해 학대 초기치는 우울을 매개로 학교적응 초기치와 변화율에 영향을 미쳤고, 방임 초기치는 우울을 매개로 학교적응 초기치와 변화율에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타나 부모의 양육태도와 학교적응 간의 관계에서 우울의 매개효과를 확인할 수 있었다. 이 연구는 청소년기에 지각하는 부모의 양육태도가 우울을 매개로 학교적응에 영향을 미치는 구조적 관계를 전국 단위 표집의 종단적 자료를 분석하였다는데 의의가 있다. 또한, 학교적응에 영향을 미치는 구조모형에서 부모의 양육태도의 영향력과 우울의 매개효과를 확인함으로써 청소년기의 부모-자녀의 관계향상 프로그램의 개발과 우울을 감소하기 위한 교사, 학교, 지역사회의 노력이 필요함을 시사한다.

The purpose of present study was to find out about a changes pattern of parental abuse and neglect, adolescents’ depression, school adjustment and also to analyze longitudinally the effects of parental abuse and neglect on school adjustment mediated by depression. In this study, we analyzed the panel data of Korean Children & Youth Panel Survey(KCYPS) using a multivariate latent growth model. Study results were as follows. First, parental abuse and neglect were positively correlated with depression, but negatively school adjustment. Second, the initial value of abuse affected on the initial value and the rate of change in school adjustment mediated by depression. Also, the initial value of neglect affected on the initial value and the rate of change in school adjustment mediated by depression. This study has contribution to analyze the effects of parental abuse and neglect on school adjustment mediated by adolescents’ depression using longitudinal data of the whole country. Also, this study has educational implication to consider program for social work interventions about preventing parental abuse and neglect, lowering adolescents’ depression.
