본 연구는 아버지 특성이 자녀의 문제행동에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 알아보는 데 있다. 한국아동패널(2012) 5차년도에 수집된 데이터 중 49~55개월 유아 1,567명과 그의 아버지를 연구대상으로 선정하여 각 변인간의 관계를 분석하였다. 연구결과, 첫째 유아의 문제행동은 아버지의 부정적 부부 특성, 양육스트레스와 정적 상관을 보이며, 아버지의 심리적 특성, 온정적 양육태도와는 부적상관을 보였다. 둘째 구조방정식 모형 분석결과 아버지의 심리적 특성은 부정적 부부 특성과 양육스트레스에 부적 영향을 미치며, 온정적 양육을 거쳐 유아의 문제행동에 부적 영향을 미쳤다. 또한 아버지의 부정적 부부 특성은 온정적 양육태도를 매개로 유아의 문제행동에 정적인 영향을 미치는것으로 나타났다. 그리고 아버지의 양육스트레스는 유아의 문제행동에 직접 정적 영향을 미칠 뿐아니라 아버지의 온정적 양육태도를 매개로 유아의 문제행동에 정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다

The purpose of this study was to explore the effects of the father``s variables for children``s problem behaviors. A data collected in The 5st Panel Study of Korean Children. 1,567 children and their fathers were targeted in this study. To analyze the data which were frequency, percentage, descriptive statistics, correlation and structural equation modeling(SEM) analysis, using SPSS 20.0 and AMOS 19.0 program. The results of this study were as follows: First, the children`s problem behavior was positive correlation between marital relationships and their fathers` parenting stresses. Also, the children``s problem behavior was negative correlation between fathers` psychological variable behavior and parenting styles. Second, the paths of the structural models and the standardized coefficients were analyzed the results which reported that their fathers` psychological variable behavior has positive effects on the marital relationships and their fathers` parenting stresses. The fathers` marital relationships had indirect effects on children``s problem behavior though positive parenting styles. The fathers` parenting stresses had direct effects on children``s problem behavior, and indirect effects on children``s problem behavior though parenting styles.
