This article investigates cyberbullying in Brazilian adolescents and its relationship with early maladaptive schema (ems). 273 Brazilian students participated in the study, completing the Revised Cyberbullying Inventory and the Young Schema Questionnaire, adapted to Brazilian reality. The results indicate that adolescents involved in cyberbullying, either as victims or victims-aggressors, had significantly higher scores in the majority of ems than other young people. The victims and victim-aggressors had higher scores in abandonment, grandiosity and insufficient self-control schema than those not involved. The victims had higher scores in self-sacrifice and defectiveness than those not involved and higher scores than the aggressors in the defectiveness schema. The victims-aggressors had scores in mistrust, approval- seeking, negativity and unrelenting standards schema higher than those not involved. The article discusses the greater frequency of cyberbullying among girls and ems as factors in the greater vulnerability of adolescents to cyber-victimization or cyber-aggression.

Este artículo investiga el cyberbullying en adolescentes brasileños y su relación con los Esquemas Iniciales Desadaptativos (eid). En el trabajo participaron 273 estudiantes brasileños, quienes respondieron al Revised Cyberbullying Inventory y al Cuestionario de esquemas de Young para adolescentes, adaptado a la realidad brasileña. Los resultados indican que los adolescentes involucrados en cyberbullying, ya sea como víctimas o víctimas-agresores, presentaron puntajes significativamente más elevados en la mayoría de los eid que los demás jóvenes. Las víctimas y víctimas-agresores tuvieron mayores puntajes que los no involucrados en los esquemas de abandono, grandiosidad y autocontrol insuficiente. Las víctimas mostraron puntajes más altos que los no involucrados en autosacrificio y defecto, y mayores puntajes que los agresores en el esquema de defecto. Las víctimas-agresores presentaron puntajes más altos que los no involucrados en los esquemas de desconfianza, búsqueda de aprobación, negativismo y estándares inflexibles. Se discute la mayor frecuencia de cyberbullying entre niñas y los eid como factores que hacen que los adolescentes sean más vulnerables a la cibervictimización o ciberagresión.

Este trabalho teve por objetivo investigar o cyberbullying em adolescentes brasileiros e sua relação com os Esquemas Iniciais Desadaptativos (EIDs). Participaram 273 estudantes brasileiros, que responderam ao Revised Cyberbullying Inventory e ao Questionário de Esquemas de Young para Adolescentes, adaptado à realidade brasileira. Os resultados apontaram que os adolescentes envolvidos em cyberbullying como vítimas e vítimas-agressores apresentaram escores significativamente mais elevados na maioria dos eids do que os não-envolvidos. Vítimas e vítimas-agressores tiveram maiores escores que não-envolvidos nos esquemas de Abandono, Grandiosidade e Autocontrole Insuficiente. Vítimas indicaram escores mais altos do que não-envolvidos em Autossacrifício e Defeito, e maiores escores que agressores no esquema de Defeito. Vítimas-agressores apresentaram escores mais altos do que não-envolvidos nos esquemas de Desconfiança, Busca de Aprovação, Negativismo e Padrões Inflexíveis. Discute-se a maior frequência de cyberbullying entre meninas, e os EIDs como fatores que tornam adolescentes mais vulneráveis à cyber vitimização ou cyber agressão. Como citar o artigo: Mallmann, C.
