Zusammenfassung

Die Differentialdiagnose myofunktioneller, artikulatorischer und HNO-spezifischer Probleme ist ein spezielles phoniatrisches Aufgabengebiet. Es werden Symptome orofazialer Dysfunktionen präsentiert und ätiologische Faktoren für myofunktionelle Störungen der Orofazialregion bei Kindern diskutiert. Die Beseitigung HNO-spezifischer Probleme (u. a. Adenotomie, Tonsillektomie, Frenulotomie) schafft in vielen Fällen erst günstige Voraussetzungen für die Durchführung altersentsprechender logopädisch orientierter, myofunktioneller Therapien.

Summary

The differential diagnosis of myofunctional, articulational and specific ENT-disorders is a Phoniatrie domain. The symptoms of orofacial dysfunctions are presented and aetiological factors of myofunctional disorders of the orofacial region are discussed for children. In many cases the surgery of ENT-disorders (e. g. adenotomy, tonsillectomy, frenulotomy) makes favorable conditions for logopedic oriented myofunctional therapies aecording to the age.
