    Abstract concepts require generally longer times to be processed, and are recalled less accurately than concrete concept. The first reason for the importance of the social and linguistic dimension for abstract concepts is their particular acquisition modality: linguistic inputs offered by others are crucial in order to keep together the variety of heterogeneous events and situations that characterize abstract concepts (labels as glue of heterogeneous experiences) (Lupyan, 2019). During abstract concepts processing participants might re-enact such verbal linguistic acquisition experience.
