In This Issue
Gaining insight into complex problems such as mental disorders affecting children and adolescents requires the use of multiple strategies. This issue of the Journal features studies that use different methods and designs, including a whole-population cohort, a longitudinal neuroimaging study, and a randomized clinical trial. Although assessing specific aspects of different disorders, these studies corroborate the need for new approaches to advance the field of child and adolescent mental health.
Precision Medicine for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
Earlier this year in his State of the Union address, President Barack Obama announced a multimillion-dollar initiative with the major goal of revolutionizing medicine by advancing beyond one-size-fits-all treatments.
