The frequency of SEPAD-A was reported to be in the range of 20–50% in various groups of adult patients with psychiatric disorders [11,12,26,28]. The rate of those diagnosed with adult onset SEPAD-A in the NCS-R study was 77.5%, which was in line with this study's findings, and it was 43% in another major prevalence study [9,10].
