First of all, studies suggested that the elicitation of human bilateral EDA is under strong ipsilateral control when limbic structures are stimulated21. Moreover, it is still unclear if the peripheral manifestation of the activation of these structures produces a unilateral (ipsilateral or not) or bilateral (symmetric or asymmetric) response22,23.
