Psychological peritraumatic risk factors for post-traumatic stress disorder in children and adolescents: A meta-analytic review
2021, Journal of Affective DisordersThe role of parenting behaviors in childhood post-traumatic stress disorder: A meta-analytic review
2017, Clinical Psychology ReviewCitation Excerpt :There were also no significant moderating effects of child age across all the meta-analyses conducted, which suggests that the effects of parenting behaviors on child PTSS are not affected by child age. This is in line with the findings of previous reviews that younger age is not a moderator for the development of child PTSD (Foy et al., 1996; Trickey et al., 2012). Some key considerations arose in reviewing the overall body of research in this area.
