This neuropeptide facilitates erection in male rats, which employs OT - NO interplay (Argiolas, 1992; Melis et al., 1986) and indicates a significant role of OT in reproduction. OT also plays a key role in transportation of ejaculate to sperm tubules, and also have a favorable impact on sperm motility and transportation rate.
