Diabetes én depressief

Resumen

Depressies komen vaker voor bij mensen met diabetes dan bij mensen zonder. Uit onderzoek in drie Nederlandse diabetesklinieken onder patiënten met diabetes type 1 en type 2 blijkt dat depressies vaker voorkomen bij vrouwen en migranten met diabetes. Ook heeft depressie een negatief effect op de glykemische instelling en geeft dus op termijn meer complicaties.
