Samenvatting

Momenteel bedraagt het aandeel personen van 65 jaar en ouder ongeveer een zesde van de Nederlandse bevolking. Naar schatting zal dit aandeel toenemen tot een kwart van de bevolking in 2030. Gelukkig voelen veel oudere mensen zich goed en gezond. Ze zijn actief, staan midden in het leven en worden succesvol oud. Er zijn echter ook ouderen die kampen met lichamelijke, psychische en/of sociale problemen.
