Ulrike Ravens-Sieberer is Head of Research and Professor for Child Public Health at the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf. Prior to this, she was Professor for Psychosocial Health Services Research and Health Psychology at the University of Bielefeld and visiting Professor for Clinical Psychology at the Free University of Berlin. Her main areas of research are International Health Surveys in Children and Adolescents as well as Health Care Services studies and studies on mental health of children. Prof. Ravens-Sieberer has developed methods for the assessment of quality of life in international studies which included the development of generic as well as disease specific health-related quality of life instruments in children and adolescents. Furthermore, Prof. Ravens-Sieberer is a member in numerous scientific societies and an advisor to the European Union in the area of public health.
