Samenvatting

Hans Harmsen, huisarts in Rotterdam-Zuid, won de tweejaarlijkse Telesphorusprijs voor het beste proefschrift dat door een huisarts werd geschreven. De jury – Edo Meinders, hoogleraar interne geneeskunde in Leiden en Han Mensink, emeritus hoogleraar urologie in Groningen en Joost Zaat, hoofdredacteur van H&W – las 17 proefschriften die vanaf eind 2002 tot half september 2004 verschenen. Tijdens de NHG-wetenschapsdag op 5 november kreeg Harmsen zijn prijs: € 2500 en een bronzen beeldje van Telesphorus.
