Abstract

Nog niet zo lang geleden werden dwangstoornissen of obsessieve–compulsieve stoornissen als zeldzaam beschouwd, maar recent grootschalig epidemiologisch onderzoek suggereert dat deze ziekte bij twee tot drie procent van de bevolking voorkomt.
