De ontwikkeling en toetsing van de ADHD-vragenlijst

Samenvatting

Aandachtstekort met hyperactiviteit (ADHD) is een ontwikkelingsstoornis die in de kindertijd kan optreden. In dit artikel wordt gerapporteerd over een vragenlijst die behulpzaam kan zijn om de gedragssymptomen van ADHD juist in te schatten. Deze zogeheten AVL beslaat achttien vragen over ADHD-achtige gedragingen bij jeugdigen. Onderzoek van de covariantie-structuur in een steekproef van 412 jeugdigen met en zonder de diagnose ADHD in de jeugdzorg wees uit dat de drie dimensies aandachtstekort, hyperactiviteit, en impulsiviteit ten grondslag liggen aan ADHD. Het onderzoek toonde verder aan dat de gedragssymptomen van ADHD met behulp van de AVL betrouwbaar in beeld kunnen worden gebracht.
