Abstract

Dentale agenesie – congenitaal afwezig zijn van gebitselementen – is een van de meest voorkomende ontwikkelingsstoornissen bij de mens. Voornamelijk de gebitselementen die zich het laatst in elke gebitselementenklasse (laterale incisief, tweede premolaar, derde molaar) ontwikkelen, worden erdoor getroffen.
