Belastungen der Eltern chronisch körperlich kranker Kinder

Zusammenfassung

Die chronische Erkrankung eines Familienmitglieds hat Auswirkungen auf die gesamte Familie. Anhand von Metaanalysen von mehr als 450 empirischen Studien wird untersucht, ob sich Eltern chronisch kranker Kinder und Jugendlicher von den Eltern gleichaltriger Gesunder im Ausmaß an Stressbelastung und in der psychischen Gesundheit unterscheiden. Ebenso werden Vergleiche der Familienfunktion – z. B. der Kohäsion – vorgenommen. Darauf aufbauend wird analysiert, ob sich die Belastungen der Eltern chronisch körperlich kranker Kinder in Abhängigkeit von der Art der Erkrankung und von anderen Merkmalen dieser Kinder und Eltern unterscheiden.
