By contrast, Armstead and Clark (2002) failed to replicate the factor structure of the anger expression subscales, although their sample of 86 African American adolescents was comparatively small. Consistent with other studies, though, Anger-Control items loaded on a common factor (e.g., Musante et al., 1999).
