Ledderhosesyndroom of plantaire fibromatose

Samenvatting

Ledderhosesyndroom (plantaire fibromatose) is een bindweefselverdikking van de fascia plantaris. Dit leidt tot de vorming van langzaam groeiende noduli onder de voet. Patiënten met pijnklachten en/of zwellingen en/of knobbels onder de voet kunnen deze ziekte hebben. Pijnstilling en orthopedische zolen zijn de eerste stap in de behandeling, verwijzing naar een orthopeed voor een chirurgische behandeling is de tweede stap.
