Inleiding

Kindermishandeling heeft ernstige langetermijngevolgen. Kindermishandeling wordt geassocieerd met een breed scala aan negatieve lichamelijke en psychologische gevolgen op de gezondheid en het gedrag. Deze gedragseffecten verhogen de risico’s op lichamelijk en psychologisch gebied en zorgen voor een toename van criminaliteit.
