Samenvatting

In het algemeen reageren kinderen snel en positief op een homeopathische behandeling, zowel bij acute als bij chronische aandoeningen. Dat is de ervaring van ruim 200.000 homeopathische artsen in de wereld, van wie meer dan 1000 kinderartsen. Er is de laatste vijfentwintig jaar toenemend wetenschappelijk onderzoek gedaan dat deze ervaring ondersteunt. Er zijn positieve RCT’s bij acute otitis media, postoperatieve angst en onrust, bovenste luchtweginfectie, bedplassen en ADHD en een meta-analyse toont aan dat homeopathie effectief is bij diarree bij kinderen (indien het geneesmiddel individueel gekozen is). Uit een grote Britse observationele studie die zes jaar duurde, blijkt dat ruim 80% van de kinderen met chronische aandoeningen met de homeopathische behandeling verbeterde in hun algemene gezondheidstoestand.
