In Promoting Social Skills in the Inclusive Classroom, Kimberly L. Wilkerson and colleagues analyze the role of social competence in academic achievement and describe evidence-based approaches found to be effective in inclusive classroom settings at school-wide levels. The book’s purpose is to provide educators with a number of different strategies for instruction and intervention to effectively improve the level of social competence in their elementary students both with and without disabilities.
