samenvatting

In Nederland is een kleine groep (aanstaande) jonge moeders met ernstige gedragsproblemen. Zij verblijven veelal in een justitiële jeugdinrichting (JJI ) of jeugdzorginstelling, maar kunnen daar tijdens de zwangerschap of na de komst van hun baby vaak niet blijven. Sinds enige tijd bestaat er voor deze groep een speciale voorziening: het Moeder&Kindhuis. In dit artikel wordt een beeld geschetst van de werkwijze van het Moeder&Kindhuis en van de jonge (aanstaande) moeders die daar verblijven.
