Kansvolle psychosociale behandelingen voor problemen met illegale drugs

Samenvatting

Wat weten we over onderzoek naar effect van behandeling van druggebruikers? Het antwoord op deze vraag komt uit samenvattende analyses van goed uitgevoerde studies, de zogenoemde overzichtsstudies. Dergelijke analyses moeten regelmatig worden geactualiseerd om op de hoogte te blijven van de resultaten van nieuw gepubliceerd onderzoek. In 2004 publiceerde het Trimbos-instituut een tweede Nederlandse overzichtsstudie (Rigter e.a., 2004) die kan bijdragen aan effectiever behandeling van verslaafden in ons land. Dit artikel geeft een kort overzicht van de resultaten van deze overzichtsstudie.
