Journal Club, een goed idee voor implementatie van EBP

Samenvatting

Tijdens een Journal Club wordt door (één of) twee verpleegkundigen of docenten Verpleegkunde een wetenschappelijk artikel besproken met collega’s. Het onderwerp van dit artikel wordt meestal uitgezocht op grond van een recent probleem, dilemma of onzekerheid uit de dagelijkse praktijk. In dit artikel wordt uitgelegd waarom dergelijke besprekingen bestaan, wat de verpleegkundige, de afdeling of (educatieve) instelling ermee wint en hoe een Journal Club kan worden ingesteld. Uiteraard met praktische aanbevelingen om de Journal Club tot een succes te maken.
