Samenvatting

Een patiënt van 46 jaar met acute myeloïde leukemie (AML), wordt met spoed opgenomen op de intensive care wegens hemodynamische instabiliteit.

Omgekeerde isolatie: het zorgpersoneel treft beschermende maatregelen om de patiënt te beschermen tegen het ontwikkelen van een infectie veroorzaakt door micro-organismen vanuit exogene en endogene flora. Onder beschermende maatregelen wordt hier verstaan: verpleging in een sluiskamer, schort aan en een mondneusmasker bij koortslip of verkoudheid.
