Samenvatting

Actinomycosis in het bekken is een zeldzame, maar ernstige aandoening, het betreft meestal een descenderende infectie. De correlatie met ‘actinomyces like organisms’ (ALO's) in het uitstrijkje bij asymptomatische patiënten die een spiraal dragen, is onduidelijk.
